Haven For Restoration is the private practice of Dr. Rudo Nyamapfumba, DSW, LCSW-S, APHSW-C, a clinical social worker licensed in Texas. This page explains what this website collects and what happens to it. It covers the website only — if you become a client, your clinical record is governed separately under HIPAA and Texas law.

What this site collects

  • Contact form — your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write in the message.
  • Journal download form — your name and email address.
  • Visit statistics — Squarespace, the platform this site runs on, records aggregate figures: pages viewed, the country or region a visit came from, and the site that referred you. These are counts, not identities.

What this site does not do

This site carries no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking scripts. Nothing about your visit is sold or shared with advertisers, and the site does not collect health information.

Please do not send clinical details through the contact form. It is ordinary web email, not a secure or HIPAA-compliant channel. Use it to ask for an appointment or a call back, and nothing more sensitive than that.

How your email address is used

If you give your email address to receive the Rise to Run journal, it is used to send you the journal and occasional updates from the practice. It is not shared or sold. Reply to any of those emails asking to be removed and you will be.

Booking and other companies

Appointments are booked through SonderMind, a separate company with its own privacy policy and its own agreement with you — when you click through to book, you leave this site. The Rise to Run journal is hosted on Google Drive.

Where your information is held

This website and the information it collects are hosted in the United States. If you are writing from outside the US, including Australia, your information is processed there.

Your choices

To ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email rudo@havenforrestoration.com. Requests about clinical records follow a separate process, which will be explained to you if you ask.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this page

Any material change will be posted here with a new date at the top.
